Our Hotel is part of an ever-larger group of Ecolabel-certified establishments, a form of international recognition created with the aim of lending visibility to tourism organisations that, on their own initiative, decide to manage their businesses in a more sustainable manner.
We have chosen to reduce energy wastage, properly separate refuse, use ecologically friendly detergents as much as possible, and follow a policy of “landscape integration” in order to protect not only nature but also the characteristics of the mountain landscape.

Hotel Caminetto has also earned another important form of recognition; the “Park Quality” brand promoted by the Adamello Brenta Nature Park. This project has been created with the aim of lending visibility to establishments that offer their guests an ecologically sustainable holiday.

How did we earn this important form of certification?

• Access to the Case del Parco: 7 special guided trails, each with a different theme: Once upon a time, Acqua Life, Geopark, Flora, Fauna, The bear, Rosso Lake. Here, adults and children can explore, interact, learn and be amazed.

The Hotel Caminetto has been awarded the “Ecoristorazione Trentino” brand, a project organised by the Autonomous Province of Trento with the aim of awarding businesses that are committed to revolutionise the restaurant world. In addition to the quality of the produce and the skill of our chef, our kitchen is also characterised by a tangible commitment to reducing atmospheric and water pollution as well as the quality of waste produced by the restaurant service and supply chain, and to the optimisation of water and energy consumption.

The Ecoristorazione Trentino brand requires the respecting of 7 fundamental requirements:

• Menu with Trentino produce and the use of local produce to reduce emissions from transportation to a minimum.
• Certified organic ingredients
• Elimination of single-portion and disposable products to reduce the quantity of waste
• Systems for low-energy lighting
• Ecological product lines for cleaning
• Environmental education and information to promote good environmental practices

The kitchen at the Hotel Caminetto has always focused on traditional local cuisine. We use a large quantity of ingredients from the Trentino supply chain, sourcing from farmers and producers in the Val di Sole area, right on our doorstep. What’s more, our Wine Bar offers 200 different wines, many of which are from the most famous local wine producers in Trentino.

Whenever possible, we purchase certified organic food and drinks. Our aim is to support a form of economy that is sustainable and that respects the environment and animals. Not only good for the environment but also tasty for those enjoying our dishes, these ingredients are healthy, and conserve all their organoleptic and nutritional values.

In our Ecoristorazione Trentino-brand kitchen, we have put a stop to waste and the uncontrolled creation of refuse. We have decided to eliminate all disposable and single-use products; they need to become a thing of the past! All our chef’s team are aware of the importance of not uselessly wasting water and energy. We have installed a low-energy lighting system and use ecological products for cleaning.

At the Hotel Caminetto, we know that awareness and good practices can be shared with the guests who, as nature lovers, are always very interested and ready to share our good practices... perhaps even taking them home!
